The Seguine Mansion has been featured in stories by the New York Times, WNET-Thirteen, Staten Island Live, and many other publications and programs.

These articles describe the house and grounds as well as some of the events that George Burke has hosted at the mansion: his annual plantation barbecues, white parties and holiday gatherings (by invitation) plus occasional tea parties (by special arrangement).

The property also serves as an entertainment venue, with recent performances of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” by the Castle Theatre Company of Durham, England, and by vocalists Vincent Ricciardi and Emily Wright, who gave a concert featuring operatic, cabaret and Broadway music.

In addition, the combination of architecture, decor and nature creates an idyllic setting that has attracted photographers and cinematographers from Bullett and Industry magazines to HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire,” and more.
